We received excellent support from James and Jemma in setting up our new supply system, and then fantastic ongoing support for our supply workers and our school operators now that we are up and running. It really is a bespoke service based on their product, but tailored to our needs.

We use the system for Pupil Support Assistants, Early Years Practitioners and Teaching staff. Our Early Years Centres, Mainstream and Special Schools are all fully engaged with the system which is user friendly and has a built in online help centre with FAQs and a chat function. 

The system has considerably reduced the admin time for schools, in submitting the monthly timesheets, which has led to a more streamlined payroll data transfer.

Supply workers are able to see which timesheets have been approved, so they know they will be paid.

A year in, we are still delighted with this system and with the support from Teacher Booker.”

“We engaged Teacher Booker to modernise our supply teacher register offer to schools, requesting a digital solution for booking and managing supply teachers. Until then, we had been working with a number of different systems, which were in need of updating to enable us to stay in the supply teacher market in our region and improve efficiency for us, the supply teachers and our customers.

The system that Teacher Booker have created gave us exactly what we needed with little need for development, to ensure it fitted our requirements.

The system is intuitive to use for all parties involved, it provides access via any device and an instant link between schools in need of cover (often a short notice) and supply teachers wanting to work. It has revolutionised our offer and we have received consistent positive feedback from our customers and the supply teachers. Most commented on how quick and easy it is use, which in the current education environment is an absolute must.

“Our move to purchase Teacher Booker was first and foremost based on the positive working relationship we quickly established with James and Jemma throughout the procurement process.

Once we had decided to purchase Teacher Booker, the process was quick, seamless and very straight forward.

James and Jemma led us step by step through the process and made it very easy to setup a bespoke system to match our individual needs for all sectors (Primary/Secondary/Special). “Working with Teacher Booker since May 2021 has been a really positive experience for Glasgow City Council’s schools and supply teachers.

The booking system is easy to use and has enabled us to streamline our processes for 200 schools and over 1000 supply teachers, making it a more efficient way for short term teaching posts to be filled.

The recruitment system not only offers us an education and childcare jobs board but also a MSP system which enables us to upload and manage recruitment advertising on behalf of our education and childcare establishments.

This comes with a flexible application route option for various types of customers, including an online application form which makes applying for jobs efficient and easy for candidates. We felt this was important in the highly competitive jobs market as it will help to attract more candidates to our customers vacancies.

In addition to all this design and system work Teacher Booker have also created an education specific ATS. This is designed to meet Keeping Children Safe in Education recruitment requirements making recruiting more efficient for schools and trusts.

Another added efficiency that we have benefitted from is the integration of the supply booking system into the recruitment side of the system. This has been great for our customers who buy both supply and recruitment services from us.
